International Workforce Development Panel Discussion
Strengthening the Marine Transportation System Cyber Workforce
Split into two sessions, the first session will run for approximately 5-15 minutes and provide an introduction to the working group as it was only recently established as an outcome from the previous Symposium held in Long Beach, California. This introduction will include background to the working group, a summary of its work and findings, desired deliverables and future goals.
The second session will discuss how various partnerships through academia, industry, and international partnerships can strengthen experience and skill sets of the workforce. Other topics that may be discussed include building a common training repository, identifying key skills/skills gaps across International Cyber MTS workforce, and developing/consolidating a list of best practices to strengthen the workforce – which may be a great for group discussion to solicit/gather feedback from the audience
