Stephanie Kolobaric

Acting Assistant Secretary, Department of Home Affairs

Stephanie is currently acting Assistant Secretary of the Global Initiatives Branch within the International Division of the Department of Home Affairs. The Branch has responsibility for driving the Department’s engagement across multiple fora including the Five Country Ministerial, Migration Five, Bali Process, ASEAN, APEC and the United Nations.

Stephanie was previously Senior Departmental Liaison Officer within the Office of the Hon Clare O’Neil MP, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Cyber Security. She managed the Data Security and Strategic Analysis Section within the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre (CISC), and had responsibility for providing national security advice to government regarding foreign investment into Australia’s critical infrastructure as part of the Foreign Investment Review Board process.

Stephanie has over twelve years’ experience working across multiple national security agencies and is a results oriented leader with a track record of building high performing teams.
