Commander Brendan Sullivan

Staff Judge Advocate, U.S. Coast Guard Cyber Command

Commander Sullivan is the Staff Judge Advocate for Coast Guard Cyber Command where he works with dedicated legal professionals who provide advice and legal services to Commander, CG Cyber and over five hundred personnel. Their efforts support cyberspace defense, enabling operations, and infrastructure protection in furtherance of Coast Guard missions and national security priorities. CDR Sullivan has published articles and participated in several public discussions addressing the intersection of maritime interests, technology, and international law. He is also a licensed mariner, having served aboard deep sea general cargo and military contract vessels.
